Colour-coded questioning from HS 

After marking a reading assessment, I identified the Assessment Focus the pupil most needed to work on. Pupils were given a coloured counter when they came in to the classroom (this counter corresponded with a particular AF)

As a class, we read through a text. Then, pupils answered their own coloured questions (using the colour-coded student friendly AFs and my feedback to help them know how to improve).

Students then peer assessed with someone who had the same colour.
